F Street will be closed permanently under I-15 beginning Sunday, September 7th at 11:30 p.m. Traffic will be re-routed onto a connector road from F Street to D Street on the east side of the freeway. The closure will result in a cul-de-sac on the west side of the freeway.
The Cheyenne Ave. on-ramp to I-15 southbound will be closed beginning Sunday, August 10th through December 2008 for ramp work.
- Motorists are advised to avoid using Martin Luther King Blvd. as an alternate route for north/south travel. MLK is experiencing considerable traffic congestion and heavy delays can be expected. Consider Rancho or Lamb for alternate routes.
- I-15 traffic is limited to two lanes in each direction from U.S. 95 to the Lake Mead Interchange through the summer of 2009.
- The US 95 northbound to I-15 northbound ramp is closed from Friday, July 18 through the summer of 2009.
- The D Street/Washington Ave exit off-ramp from I-15 northbound is closed through the summer of 2009.
- On I-15 between Craig Road and U.S. 95 (Spaghetti Bowl), various lanes are closed in each direction, Sunday through Friday evenings from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each evening. Motorists should use lane shifts as directed. Extreme caution in the work zone is advised.
Motorists are strongly encouraged to plan an alternate route to avoid and help alleviate severe traffic tie-ups. The completed project will result in significantly improved traffic flow throughout the corridor.
